The hotel was very unusual, with staff dressed in period attire, and the stay was enjoyable in a beautiful region, plus we got a free visit to the park. The comfort was at the standard of the era, which was expected. Breakfast was a bit light and lacked salty options.

The spot couldn't be better – right in the middle of everything you need. The only letdown was the bed; it was either too hard or just old, so I woke up feeling stiff. Otherwise, location alone made the stay worth it.

The castle‑set room was huge and sat right in the middle of the historic site, which made waking up to the view a real pleasure. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and the staff were both friendly and professional, keeping the place quiet and picture‑perfect. The only hiccup was the bathtub‑shower combo, which felt awkward to use, but otherwise everything was spot on.
