Breakfast was tasty and plentiful; the cheese and bread selection could have been better, the service was flawless and the atmosphere very pleasant, yet there were no lounge areas or a garden.

The location was great, the people were genuinely friendly, the food wasn’t extraordinary but what they served was tasty, we could park our bikes inside without hassle, everything was well organized, no frills.

The reception was friendly and the hotel is in a very good spot in town – a lovely place.

The rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated, as is the breakfast area; dining there is a lot of fun. Breakfast is lovingly arranged and offers everything the heart desires, from sweets, muesli and fruit (fresh pineapple, forest berries, etc.) to hearty options. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Parking is located right in front of the building.

We stayed two days and booked two double rooms because we were traveling with two kids. They served us for trips to Ochsenkopf and Bayreuth. The hotel’s location is wonderful, just a few steps from the market square where good food can be found. Located directly on the Ölschnitz river, the balcony lets you hear the water’s rush. A personal, friendly welcome from the host and a generous, very good breakfast completed our short getaway. The parking right in front of the entrance made our arrival very pleasant. We would come back. Best regards from Erlangen.
