“Erg goed”

Everything was good: spacious rooms, good service, nice staff. However, it turns out the hotel is frequented by government officials and other people in official positions. Suddenly, our hotel was filled with police and people carrying huge rifles, which felt very scary for the kids. Because of that, our taxi couldn't come to the hotel front door and we had to be picked up a few hundred meters away. In the heat, carrying a lot of luggage was not pleasant.
