The views were beautiful, but they put a sheet cover with someone’s pee on it and it smells so bad.

Rinnie was terrific at check‑in and throughout our short stay, making everything smooth and friendly.

I only stayed one night, but from the moment I arrived until I woke up before 8 am, I found the location quiet and in tune with Kauai’s nature. The front‑desk woman on the morning of the 27th was very pleasant and helpful. However, from 8 am onward, I heard staff—probably cleaning—talking loudly outside the room, which was very unpleasant and noisy. I wanted to relax in my room until check‑out, but the noise forced me to move to the lobby and call for a quicker departure. It would have been acceptable after check‑out, but the morning noise was too much; the staff should get better training. The shower was cramped and hard to use, so my friend gave up on showering. There was only shampoo, no conditioner, so I only washed my body and gave up washing my hair. We were in room “No.26”, and I think the side of No.26 should be avoided; there might be better rooms elsewhere.

We never stayed there because no one answered the phone, the power was out, and the front desk told my coworker they didn’t see my reservation, so we had to book somewhere else.

The vibe was old‑school Hawaiian.
