The staff went above and beyond, always friendly and attentive, and they provided many thoughtful freebies like dinner, gentle reminders, laundry service and even foot‑soaking packs with mugwort leaves; the location let us wander the city worry‑free and retreat to a relaxing room. However, the address listed for the hotel is wrong, so it can’t be found on Didi; you have to look for “欢漫酒店 (丽江古城忠义市场木府店)” instead.

The location was convenient and the room was comfortable. One of the two rooms wasn’t ready at the 2 pm check‑in time, and we were told to wait another 45 minutes.

The rooms are very nice and feel modern throughout. There are plenty of controls for lighting, as well as buttons for opening and closing the curtains. A nice touch is the automatic low‑level lighting that turns on when you enter the bathroom at night. Unfortunately, breakfast on the first day was very poor, although it improved on the second day. The ancient city is within walking distance, and there are quite a few restaurants nearby. I wasn’t a fan of the gym setup—the equipment is in the same room as the washing machines, and there were no dumbbells available, which was disappointing.
