Riad Hizad sits in central Marrakech, a ten‑minute walk from Jemaa el‑Fna Square and the Koutoubia Mosque. Guests enjoy an outdoor pool, rooftop terrace overlooking the Medina, and air‑conditioned Moroccan‑styled suites with patio views, en‑suite bathrooms, and flat‑screen satellite TVs. Breakfast is traditional; a dining area serves local dishes, and a shared lounge and authentic Berber tent provide relaxation.

1. The interaction with the owner before and during our stay was really great - she explained about the best way to get to Marrakesh and that she would arrange a transfer from the Bus Station to the Riad by taxi then a person as the Riad is inside the Medina 2. Once we arrived - it was not just check in and here are your keys - she sat with us and explained the Medina she showed us in the map where to visit and the routes to take as the Medina is very complicated. She also suggested places to visit and restarants in the Medina that she thought we may like and get the culture 3. the room we had picked was lovely, traditional interiors and extremely well decorated . The whole property had a fantastic, quaint layout with wonderful artefacts and furniture in nooks and crannies supporting the experience of Morocco and the Medina 4. the staff including Isobel are super friendly and helpful - they took time to lead us through the lanes in the Medina to pick up a taxi to go to the gardens and YSL - its not easy to navigate 5 We came to Marrakesh for the experience we travelled from Agadir by Bus and would recommend - the roads are straight and good. Nothing we did not like The Medina is a huge experience with motor bikes, and other vehicles in the tight lanes - but an experience We also kept getting lost even with a map - take a compass!

We had a nice room with no view, the on‑site Hammam and massage were great, we enjoyed a very good dinner on the rooftop the first evening, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location is perfect, the services, the quiet, the welcome—everything is flawless. Nothing to complain about.

Isabelle and her team are welcoming and attentive, and the riad itself is tastefully decorated. The terrace offers a great spot for breakfast and soaking up the sun, and the morning meals are tasty every day. The airport transfers were reasonably priced and ran smoothly. The only downside is the absence of a fridge in the room.
