It’s really in nature and quite special indeed. I did have a few problems with taxi drivers refusing to drive up the steep hill.

This place was fantastic. The bar offered an amazing view of Karon Beach at sunset from the hilltop, and the environment was tranquil—just a five‑minute scooter ride up the hill to escape the noise while staying close. The staff were amazing, the room was fantastic, and I highly recommend it; plus the pool was mostly shaded, making it the best around.

The calm, the surroundings, the city and sea view, and the hotel perched on a hill overlooking the bay are all great. One note: it’s a bit of a climb to walk back to the beach and city center, but an Uber takes about 5 minutes for less than €5, which works well.

Everything was perfect – the nature, the food, the monkeys on the terrace, ohhhhh blissful! Nothing to complain about.
