The host was fabulous, privacy was great, the views were good, and the jacuzzi was nice. The weather was cold in early March and wet some days, so the nights were chilly even with the extra blankets the host provided.

They left us hanging and didn’t answer the phone for almost two hours… not recommended… at least booking cancelled for us and refunded the money.

The host, Melanie, was outstanding and the place itself was fantastic—spacious, spotless, and secluded with gorgeous views, plus a private spa. All the comforts were there: fast wifi, Netflix, a big fridge/freezer, gas stove, and every kitchen tool you could need. Melanie had thought of everything and was eager to help whenever we asked. I’d recommend this spot without hesitation.

The peace of the spot, the host’s care, and the friendliness of nearby guests made for a lovely stay. I walked the mountain trails and through Cómpeta. My visit fell on Sunday the 7th, the Night of the Lanterns in one of the town squares—a beautiful, lively tradition.
