The hotel is very relaxing, with excellent design and friendly staff, but the spa pool—an extra‑charge area—was too cold, comparable to the outdoor pools, so it didn’t justify the price.

The staff were very courteous, and the setting feels exclusive, which may not suit everyone. It could improve by making rooms more accessible for older guests and adding more hangers in bathrooms and wardrobes.

The décor was new, but the two‑night stay cost 400€/night and a party outside the hotel was announced but we never received the notice, losing the name Calma; the spa and treatments were impossible to arrange because no one attended, and the other room was also problematic—expectations were low for a hotel of this kind. The room had constant noise from the adjacent room, a noisy fridge, a dirty bathroom, and the night staff said “you’ll get it when you leave, I don’t know.” Breakfast was not restocked, and being in Galicia with rain made moving around the facilities very uncomfortable since everything was only communicated from the outside.

Terrible. This hotel is quite far out and requires a car. During my stay, there was significant construction noise outside, which was undisclosed prior to arrival and made a peaceful retreat impossible. While some design elements were nice, the quality felt below expectations for €400/night—including the quality of the room’s furnishings, the view from the room (which was the most expensive room on the property), and a poorly placed AC controller that took 3 staff members to find. When I raised the noise issue with management shortly after checking in to request a date adjustment or cancellation, the owner responded with hostility. Most luxury hotels would let you know about the noise ahead of your visit and work with a client if they are asking for a reasonable exception to a policy, i.e. if what was advertised (a peaceful and calm atmosphere) is not what was delivered. The experience was far below reasonable luxury standards and does not reflect the price point, comfort, or atmosphere of what is advertised. I would not recommend
