A small, cozy property that’s lovingly furnished and designed. We stayed one night to head to Diamond Beach the next day, and the accommodation was definitely adequate. Our room was tidy, clean, and well equipped. There’s also a minibar and various snacks in the room that you pay for when you leave – a very practical solution. The bathroom was clean and had everything we needed for one night. A hair dryer wasn’t in the room, but we could easily get one at the reception. The staff were very friendly and helpful. English isn’t spoken well by all employees, so communication was sometimes a bit difficult, but Google Translate helped and everyone was very accommodating. There are several great local spots nearby, so you’re well served food-wise. The property also advertises its own restaurant, but we didn’t see anyone there during our stay, so we can’t comment on it. Transport to and from the harbor worked well, though you should keep in mind that it takes 1.5 hours to get to and from the harbor due to road conditions. Overall, a lovely, lovingly run accommodation that’s especially suitable for a short stay.
The only suggestion would be to improve the restaurant. The menu in the room looks diverse and reasonably priced at first glance, but during our stay all guests chose other local spots for meals. The restaurant itself didn’t feel very inviting, and it wasn’t clear whether it was open or closed. A more welcoming design and clearer signage of opening hours could definitely bring out more of its potential, as the menu itself sounds good.
