“Insolite”

Getting there was easy, parking was fine, the concept was well organized, and the lights helped us navigate at night. The shared bathrooms were as described, but there was no luggage storage even though booking said otherwise. The mattress was thick but split into three parts that separated during the night, and the sheets felt rough.

The cabin interior was clean, the mattress comfortable, the shared bathroom was tidy, and there were outlets to charge our phones. The pool was there, but I had to take down the tarp and put it back myself. I expected a bigger cabin; it’s basically the size of a double bed when unfolded, with almost no space for a bag. It was hot, and it was hard to ventilate with just one small window even with the fan. I imagined a more natural setting, but we could see the neighboring villas directly. Still, the concept is nice. I travel a lot and I’m not picky, but I thought it was pricey for a 4 m² cabin.

“Escapade insolite certes mais pas dans le sens attendu.”

The look and the bedding in the small wooden Scandinavian cabin called Kota were nice. The cabin only fits two people. When it rains or it’s hot, neither the site nor the cabin are suitable. There are a few clever storage spots, but watch the coffee table that unfolds in front of the sofa bed; it can fall onto your legs because the system has no safety and you can step on the empty space left behind. The shared toilets are used by 2 or 4 guests, with minimal toilet paper. Hygiene is lacking. You can spend a long time in the shower trying to replace the weird peg that acts as a shelf because the suction cups don’t work on the sloped wooden roof. The kit pool under trees (what a concept!) is covered by a tarp that we have to remove ourselves and parked in a closed area occupied by two sunbeds next to the pool. No desire to swim. The garden is nicely lit but abandoned at the end of the hot season. Dead plants, leftover wood scraps visible to everyone… various DIYs that give little confidence, similar to the fire pit area that only has a slanted table in front of a brazier. It can pass the night but we’re disappointed when daylight comes. The whole site feels the same. The dozens of solar lamps don’t save the rest and make us question the “eco‑responsible” practices that could be misleading about the water sanitation pits. Direct view of the neighbors’ garden. The welcome was cold like Finland in winter, limited to explanations of how things work. The evening by the barbecue turned out to be a meal on a wobbly table in a corner. I also recall that the jacuzzi hour costs 40 € per person, which I find not well indicated on the site, and the hosts brag about offering a price that beats all competition.

“très insolite”

The welcome was pleasant, but the photos on the site were really misleading; we didn’t expect the cabins to be so small! The maintenance was absolutely not done, pieces of tarp everywhere, leaves in the pool, broken furniture everywhere, it felt like off‑season.
