The host was very welcoming, speaks good English, and the rest of the family treated us kindly. The room was simple but cute, the AC worked great, and the location was good—just a 15‑minute walk from Registan Square, though we had trouble locating it. Nearby there are simple, good eateries, and they let us wash clothes for free. The downside was that the bathroom was shared with the host’s family and wasn’t clean.

The hosts are very hospitable. We arrived at night and were told we could check in the next day, but they let us occupy a room immediately and served us pilaf. In the morning they showed us the area, where to go for sights, where to buy good food, and where to exchange money. They told stories about places and people, responded to requests, and were very heartfelt. We’d love to see them again 💖. The only drawback is that the bathroom is separate (as noted on the site) and there are no coat racks.

We booked a one‑day stay and arrived early; the host kindly let us in, so we caught up on sleep. The room was clean, pleasant, and cozy, and the family was friendly and interesting— they even offered us tasty tea. The downside was that the private bathroom was on the street side and shared by everyone, including family members; there were two toilets, which is a plus, but for a longer stay this arrangement would be inconvenient.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to give us tips about the city and beyond. We made friends with the whole family, which was wonderful ❤️. Everything else was fine.

The guest house sits just off Registan, practically in the heart of Samarkand. The family was fantastic and made us feel like cherished guests. The kitchen was spacious, equipped with utensils, so we could cook ourselves or ask the hosts to prepare meals. A café nearby also serves food. The house is managed by Zafar.
