The location and room décor were great, yet the absence of floor mats and a blower left us feeling a bit cold and unprepared.
“Peaceful and relaxing location ideal for short stays 2 days would do more”
The peaceful setting was lovely, the room was comfy, and the staff were generally attentive to our needs; the hot‑cold shower worked well. However, there’s really nothing to do nearby, the pool’s chlorine was so high it turned green and made the bottom invisible, and although a kettle was in the room, there was no complimentary tea or coffee and water had to be requested—having it pre‑filled or in the fridge would have been better.
“It was a pleasant stay as it was very quiet and polite reception staff.”
The location and overall ambience were good, but the room itself was not clean, the toilets and bathroom were filthy with many bugs, and the washbasin lacked tap controls.
“Great room but expect unusual waiting times any time you order food. Staff are all nice too.”
The room was nice and the bed comfortable, but the onsite restaurant was painfully slow—twice it took over 90 minutes to deliver our meals, and when we finally got our coffee at the 45‑minute mark, no one explained the delay or even said hello.
The newly renovated place is nice, and for provinces in the Philippines it’s worth the price if you’re willing to pay; the only downside is the swimming pool was filthy and the bottom was almost invisible, plus the bedsheets were a bit short and there was no mattress protector.
