Hotel San Michele

Everything was perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were met with great attention and friendliness. The hotel is charming, well‑maintained, and has a special atmosphere. The room was immaculate, comfortable, and very pleasant. Breakfast was excellent, with quality products and everything well prepared. The location is ideal for exploring San Gimignano, and the whole experience was made even more special by the staff’s hospitality. Undoubtedly an experience that will stay in our memory. I recommend Hotel San Michele and would definitely return!

“La Toscane en campagne”

The view from the garden and the pool is stunning, and the city is just a 15‑20 minute walk away. Breakfast is varied and tasty, making it perfect. The only small gripe is that the bathroom lacks a hook.

“Mooie locatie, fijne uitvalsbasis.”

The rooms were clean and tidy but a bit dusty. The view was great and the pool was nice. The two sisters were not very friendly, and the rooms were dusty.

“Schönes inhabergeführtes kleines Hotel mit tollem Ausblick!”

The hotel offers a beautiful view over the valley and everything is very clean. The town center is 1.5 km away and a bit “up and down,” so keep that in mind for restaurants and other spots. Public transport runs hourly and the stop is right next to the hotel, but there’s no paid parking for cars. If you value a large breakfast selection, note that the “Italian breakfast” might not meet your expectations. For those who aren’t good walkers, the location might be a concern. Inside the room, a few more storage spaces—like shelves in the wardrobe—would be nice, though it depends on how long you stay and how much luggage you bring.

The place was in a fantastic spot for me and my husband; we enjoyed a 20‑minute walk to town and back, which was great exercise and offered beautiful views. We loved everything—no complaints at all.
