The farm’s care is lovely: breakfast (bread, eggs, jam, butter & coffee) can be taken from the on‑site farm, there’s a grill in front of the house, and the family has run this place for several generations. The apartment is well equipped with a kitchen, towels and bed linen, spacious, and offers a great view. It’s close to Pyhra, where you can swim in a natural pond, and near St. Pölten. The animals include cats, kittens, cows, guinea pigs, and rabbits. A few practical points: this is not a hobby farm; the family earns mainly from the cows’ milk, and there is no private balcony.

“Lovely stay on a working farm”

The Büchinger family runs a working cow farm that’s discreet yet extremely welcoming. The self‑catering apartment sits on the top floor, just above the family’s home. The surroundings are stunning, perfect for walks and trekking, yet it’s still far from major sights but within an hour’s drive to Vienna, St. Pölten, and Melk. There’s nothing to dislike.

“Delightful Austrian stay”

The property is stunning and the location is amazing. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short because of unavoidable car problems. The host kindly processed a partial refund without us having to ask. I’d definitely return once I have a working car.

“gewoon geweldig....een absolute aanrader”

The apartment was huge and very luxurious, with everything you could need: a spacious room with an open kitchen, a coffee machine, espresso machine, toaster, dishwasher, fridge, and more (everything is there). The bathroom looks phenomenal and even has a washing machine. The bedroom offers all options: a double bed, a single bed, and a child’s bed. Everything is exceptionally clean and well maintained. And again… it’s a big apartment. The owners are very friendly and the location is like a fairytale.
