Two days was perfect. The rooms are small, but that worked out fine for me. HAOSTAY sits close to the station, a handful of restaurants, and supermarkets. A mall is 15 minutes away, and the Kawaguchiko lake is a 20‑minute walk. The staff were quite friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

The room was neat and tidy in a smart, modern building, spotlessly clean, and I had free parking. I could see Mount Fuji from my window. The bathroom was tiny, though.

I stayed one night before climbing Mount Fuji. The hotel is very close to Kawaguchiko Station and the popular Lawson store. The front‑desk staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when I asked about the luggage storage service. The view of Mount Fuji from my window was the highlight – I wish I had booked more nights. I had to climb the stairs to the second floor; there’s no elevator and the stairs are quite steep. It’s manageable if your luggage isn’t too big.
