“Ottimo soggiorno, posizione perfetta e staff eccezionale!”

The riad sits in a great spot right in the heart of the medina, making it easy to walk to all the main sights, and the train station is about a 20‑minute stroll away. Breakfast was excellent—plenty of food and well presented. A big shout‑out to the staff, who were always welcoming, kind, and helpful, giving us great tips on what to see, where to eat, and how to enjoy the city. Overall, a very pleasant stay that I strongly recommend for anyone wanting to explore the city and soak up the authentic medina vibe. On the downside, the location is superb but there were a few issues. The bathroom outlet caused a power surge; the problem was fixed by restoring the electrical service, but the outlet was unusable, leaving us with only two sockets to charge our devices. We were also offered a choice between two rooms, one interior and one with a street‑view window, and were told the latter had double‑glazed, sound‑proof windows. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case: street noise, people shouting late into the night and even early in the morning, made it hard to sleep. In short, the location, breakfast, and hospitality are strong points, but the handling of problems and especially the lack of sound‑proofing fell short of our expectations.

The property sits in the Medina market, and GPS makes it easy to find. Youssef, a friendly young man, handled the check‑in, and the housekeeper—a very respectful lady—prepared breakfast for us during our stay. We’ll definitely return.

“Great place to stay”

The riad’s location in the medina is good, and inside the room there is almost no outside noise. I thought the place had been recently renovated; the rooms are neat, spacious, and clean with marble tiles. The bed and pillows are superb, the air‑conditioning works well, and the bathroom is new and spotless. Breakfast is really nice, with orange juice, tea, coffee, yogurt, man‑bread with jam or cheese, an omelette, and even a bottle of water. The lady running the place is friendly but only speaks Arabic, so communication can be a bit tricky (Google Translate needed). The shower head holder could be better, and a table to put your stuff on would be handy.
