“Decepcionante”

The stay began with a lot of organizational headaches: nobody was at the property on arrival and we received no clear instructions on how to get in. After about an hour of trying to figure it out and making several international calls to the number listed on Booking, we finally reached the owner. We found out that a door to one of the apartments had been left open and that we had to guess that we could enter. The place itself is pretty and the facilities have potential, but we noticed several signs of neglect during our stay. For instance, the shower was quite old and rusty, and there was a noticeable amount of worms and insects in the outdoor areas. The biggest issue was the pool. In the photos it looks bright blue and in good condition, but during our stay it was green with plants or algae, making it unusable. We contacted the property and were told it would be fixed in a day, but the next day it was still the same, and the day after that too. It was especially disappointing that the pool shown in the photos did not match the reality. We had to get in touch with a third party that is handling our complaint and reviewing the discrepancy between the photos and the actual condition of the pool. Breakfast is included, but it felt very limited. Some items served initially were not in good condition; later they were replaced with better ones, but the situation still hurt the overall experience. We tried to talk to the owner to find solutions, but he did not answer and charged us for the full service that was not actually provided. The location is nice and quiet, but it is quite far from other services and points of interest, something to consider before booking. In short, the apartments are nice and the surroundings have a lot of potential, but the communication problems on arrival, the lack of maintenance, and especially the unusable pool made our stay unsatisfactory. Given the price of the accommodation and that one of the main attractions shown in the photos—the pool—was unusable, we find it expensive compared to other options.

The accommodation is generally very nicely furnished and well equipped. Unfortunately, there were clear weaknesses in cleanliness: despite having been cleaned, there were still many spiders, cobwebs, and dirt in various corners, and we encountered cockroaches in the room on two evenings. The pool was also not clean. Breakfast was rather modest for the price level we expected. In the bathroom, additional hooks for towels would be a useful addition.

“For a home full of style and space! Highly recommended.”

I really loved the home's design—it’s full of style. The house is spacious and a lovely place to spend time. The view is incredible, and the proximity to the sea—combined with the feeling that the house is truly part of the town—creates a very pleasant, comfortable atmosphere. There is convenient parking, and the host leaves tasty snacks for your arrival. Highly recommended!. The house is located far from the main city. For us, this was an advantage because we wanted peace and quiet, but it is important to be aware of it

Overall we liked everything. Note that some elements need maintenance or even replacement so the house can continue to be excellent.
