The location was convenient for stopping after driving from the Outeniqua Pass on the way to Cape Town in the evening; the hosts were welcoming and accommodating, the parking was safe and secure, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and restaurants were within walking distance.

The place was quiet and spacious in a very central spot, the staff were attentive, and the breakfast was delicious.

The room was comfortable and very clean, the breakfast was good, and the gardens were lovely; however, a guest checked into the room above us late at night made a lot of noise, smoked marijuana (which we could smell in our room) and spat over their balcony onto ours repeatedly, and when we raised the issue with management we were only offered an apology, with no compensation for a night of poor sleep caused by a guest who had violated both the law and the property’s own standards—essentially turning the other guest’s behaviour into a problem we paid for.

The reception was great, the breakfast and atmosphere were enjoyable, I liked the garden and the two spotted dikkop birds there, it was centrally located, and the parking was secure.
