The shower and toilet were not clean or hygienic, and it was a shared space. The second shower and toilet were cramped and located in the kitchen, which also had a bad odor, so we had to leave and requested a refund, still awaiting a response. Not recommended.
“Horrible place to be”
Notting. Everything
Nothing good to mention. The place was billed as an apartment but turned out to be a shared house. I arrived with my two young kids expecting a private family apartment, only to find the host living there. When he opened the door he was wrapped in a towel, and a pair of men’s boxer shorts lay in the kitchen doorway—totally inappropriate with children around. The property smelled strongly of cannabis, was dark and gloomy, and didn’t match the advertised accommodation. I asked if it was a shared house, and he confirmed it and explained that the bathroom, kitchen, and living room were all shared. That wasn’t what I booked; the listing implied exclusive use. No one told me I’d be sharing with the host or others. Before arrival I struggled to locate the property, sent the host a photo of the building, and he assured me it was correct. Since then I’ve received no further communication. I was told I wouldn’t get a refund, which I find unfair because the accommodation was misrepresented. I have photos proving my complaint, including inside shots. I believe listings like this shouldn’t be allowed, especially when families with young children book in good faith. I’m asking for a full refund because the property was not as advertised.
“Awful apartment to stay, I will not recommend this to any one.”
The location is good for the city centre. The apartment shown by the owner was presented as separate, not shared, and there was one common kitchen for five guests, contradicting the photos. My first night was unpleasant, the toilet was messy, there was no lounge, and the charge was excessive for a shared place with no lounge but a shared kitchen. The bathroom near room 5, where I stayed with a family of five, started leaking on the fourth night. I won’t recommend this to anyone. Stay away from this type of owner. I asked for a refund and the owner should show the property as shared. After several calls from my co‑guest, the cleaning improved briefly.
“It was good”
The spot was close to everything—supermarkets and transport links. The room, however, felt sweltering.
