I loved the patio on the 8 th floor of my room. The location was perfect for us.

The room was perfect! A view of Família Sagrada and a terrace were so wonderful. The shower was difficult; water sprayed past the glass divider and got the floor very wet.

The hotel’s proximity to Sagrada Familia, the surrounding shops, and Las Ramblas mattered to us, and the staff at Eurostars Monumental were friendly and helpful during check‑in and check‑out. I didn’t like the shower setup; it was hard to figure out how to turn on the shower head and the half shower door splattered water all over the floor. The shower head should have instructions near the knobs, so you’re not hit with cold water.

They fulfilled every request I made when booking: a triple room with a bathtub, twin beds, and a view of Sagrada Familia. I could enjoy the basilica at various times each day, and the location was good. The surrounding area was bright, and transport, shopping, and dining were convenient. The bathtub required using the shower head to fill it, and until I got used to it the direction changed and the area outside the tub got drenched. The extra bed mattress was mediocre. Three bottles of water were provided on the first night, and there was no refill from the second day onward. I mistakenly thought there was one bottle per person each day.
