“Dissapointing. I should have been warned by being made to pay in advance. A two star B & B.”

It was a two‑star B & B priced like a four‑star hotel; the room was shabby with limited seating, the bathroom was small, and the shower curtain let water spill all over the room.

The room was excellent, breakfast was good, the location was great, everything was clean, and the staff were excellent, though the breakfast could have been better—there were limited cold buffet items, pastries, and juices, and no cereals—just granola and porridge.

The room was spacious but overall quite dark with a dark blue palette and no wall décor or pictures; the bathroom was bright and clean, yet there were too few hooks for towels, clothes, or wet jackets. The beds, pillows, and breakfast were excellent, but compared to other high‑quality B&Bs the price felt steep.
