The hotel is very beautiful and the location is close to everything in Faro. The beach is a bit farther away, but they offer a shuttle service. Breakfast was also very tasty, with plenty of choices, and you can enjoy it on the rooftop terrace with a stunning view.
The hotel is really nice, and the rooftop bar breakfast with a sea view is fantastic. The parking garage is a nightmare: there’s only one very narrow access point for both entry and exit, making navigation impossible unless you drive a tiny car, and if you run into another guest coming the other way you have to negotiate who will reverse.

O Faro was amazing – we wish we’d booked a longer stay! Breakfast and evening meals were delicious. The hotel faces a beautiful marina surrounded by restaurants and shops just a few steps away, and the flat areas nearby make it easy to walk to the old town, which is clean and lovely. During our visit there was a fantastic festival that ran late into the night with stalls around the marina, creating a romantic night scene. We took an Uber to the Forum shopping centre, which we love, and it’s only about 7 minutes away by taxi from the O Hotel. The fridge at O Faro Hotel was great, and the staff, especially at reception, were welcoming and helpful. Thank you all very much.
