“Tranquilo y agradable.”
The staff who attended us were very friendly, and the hotel’s cleanliness and aesthetic were good. However, there was a discrepancy between the final cost shown in the app and what I actually paid at the hotel. The adjustment was made for 8 instead of the amount displayed in the app, a difference of about 125 quetzales that added an unplanned expense to my stay. I would have appreciated if this had been included in the policies or listed beforehand, as it was not mentioned when I booked.
The room is pretty but very small and dark; I prefer brighter ones. The location is fine. In the courtyard there was muddy ground that didn’t dry, and we, along with other guests, walked on it—there was nowhere for kids to play. I may have overpaid, 200 USD per night is expensive. The breakfast was mediocre.
The hotel was clean and wonderful, and the location was excellent.
I loved the colonial style and the staff’s attentiveness, and the place was clean and magnificent. In the rooms, there’s a damp or wood‑like smell from the amount of furniture, and that scent gets trapped whenever the room is opened, giving it a very old‑time feel.
The location is great, but the room lacks air conditioning and becomes very humid.
