“Beautiful Site for Family Planning a Weekend Wedding”

We loved the location for our family wedding weekend! The size and ability for the entire wedding group to stay was fantastic. Beautiful fall setting and excellent service !. We had a loft room in Norwood. The upstairs closet would benefit from hooks and shelves as there was limited closet space to hang clothes for 6 people attending a wedding. There needs to be hooks on the bathroom doors for towels

“Decent hotel, but paid too much and could have slept better”

The location on the lake and surrounding green areas were great. Having an indoor pool onsite was useful to keep the children entertained during bad weather. The bathrooms are more newly renovated and come with a big bathtub, which was nice. The rooms also have an outside area with rocking chairs, and it was lovely to sit outside and relax during the good weather. Rooms were clean. Staff was very friendly. We stayed here for a wedding weekend. The prices were inflated as a result, and I do not feel like I received sufficient value for the money. The carpets in the hotel hallways and rooms are old, smelly, and a bit damp/sticky. They really should be replaced. The air conditioning unit in our room was on the older side and had a death rattle, which made it hard to sleep at night. Also, paint had been pulled off the wall in the upstairs bathroom in our room and some of the fixtures were loose on the wall. It also rained a fair amount during our stay and you could see buckets placed around the hotel in several places to catch water leaking in through doors and ceilings

“Our last visit to Lake Lawn”

Proximity to the water and updated rooms. The cost doesn’t match the value. Lack of use of facilities due to weddings. Miniature golf no longer available and the game room had non functioning games and not clean. The checkin staff were not friendly and the food was just ok

“We would visit agian, but go to the pool for extra towels.”

House keeping never brought our towels for our 2nd night stay. When we requested they still didn’t bring them. 3rd time? Nope. I don’t reuse a towel I dried my ass on. We finally went to the indoor pool and grabbed a few towels. We unplugged the refrigerator in our room. The compressor was loud. Sounded like someone in the room next door was urinating loudly for a very long time. Other than that everything was perfect.

Loved the grounds and the fact that they let us use the pool before we could check in at 4 pm
