“Ich würde wieder buchen”
The direct access to the thermal spa was a highlight.

The single room was comfortable with a wide bed, a balcony, and a small but functional and clean bathroom. The thermal complex was included in the price, where there is a large sauna area. It’s worth arriving in BG earlier to fully enjoy the attractions such as the outdoor hot pools. You can walk to the thermes in the hotel robe. The robe and bath towel probably need to be rented. The breakfast was decent. The bike storage is closed in a wooden hut with card access and has many sockets for charging bikes. Next to the hotel is a large Spar store, the train station, and the cable car. The shower lacks a headset – only the upper nozzle like on the pools. There is no air conditioning, so it could feel stuffy if it’s hot. With the window open, you can hear the nearby train station and street traffic. In the bike storage there is no way to secure bikes, and the stands are only for the wheel of large e‑bikes. With a larger number of bikes it can be tight.
The staff were very friendly, the location central, and the surroundings and landscape special. The breakfast and dinner buffets were tasty and plentiful, the bed was very comfortable, there was a balcony, a transition to the Felsentherme, and the thermal spa was included. There was a sour smell in the room.

“Great relaxing stay and plenty to do around”
It’s a great spot in Bad Gastein, literally just across from the train station, cable car, and bus stop that can take you to other interesting places in the area for hikes and walks (plus the hotel gives a Mobility card, that provides discounts and free public transport). The Felsentherme access is included in your stay, and there is a convenient indoor passage from the hotel. The room had a small balcony, which was a nice addition, considering the beautiful landscape. I chose the booking with breakfast and dinner, and it was a great option – there was a dinner buffet. The team was also helpful through the stay and facilitated my early check‑out. One thing to keep in mind if you plan to use the access to the thermes is to have your own towel and robe for it, otherwise you will need to rent or buy them.
