The rooms were spacious and clean, and having access to the pool to use at our leisure was a lovely way to cool off.

“Budget accommodation - good for a night!”

The bed was comfy, the sheets were spotless, the shower was hot with good pressure, and they supplied nice brand tea bags. The spot is close to Dubbo Zoo and not too far from town centre – a quick drive. The room sits at the front on a busy road where trucks drive all night, making it unbelievably noisy. The pool was dirty; we saw no filter and had to clear leaves and bugs twice before our daughter could swim.

The rooms were tidy and comfortable. However, a rainwater drain on the second floor leaked directly onto the concrete in front of our door in Room 12, keeping me up all night – it really needs fixing.

The hotel is on the outskirts, so it’s not overly busy and stays quiet next to the main road. We came for the zoo, so the location was perfect, and it’s a bonus that Golf Club & Club Dubbo are nearby for dinner. The restaurant and bar were closed when we arrived.
