We were greeted warmly. Covered parking is available for motorcycles and cars—our T5 even fit underneath. Breakfast was decent. Unfortunately, there’s no restaurant on site, so we had to walk 10 minutes into town, which wasn’t a big deal after a long drive but we were already exhausted. The beds were very uncomfortable with hard mattresses that had plastic sticks inserted every 20 cm, like buttons on a sofa cushion—much less cozy. The toilet bowl was brownish, leaving us unsure whether it was wear or residue; it might be time for a replacement.

The location is stunning and very quiet, the room is spacious and well furnished, and the staff are helpful. The bathroom had issues: both the sink and bidet drains were clogged, the flushing mechanism jammed, and there was no way to stop the water without disassembling the cistern.
