The place is easy to get to from the beach and there are plenty of nearby eateries; the common areas are pretty and spotless, and the owner is very friendly. Everything else was fine.

We only stayed a short time but really liked it; the resort feels youthful, with hammocks on small patios, a pool, a tiny poolside bar, and a yoga spot. The shared outdoor kitchen had fresh coffee brewing at 730am each morning, and Niko was very kind and available all day. Live music in the community shopping area was great, and the restaurant sits right across the street. We’d have preferred a closer beach, but the walk is just a few minutes, easy and flat, and we even spotted howler monkeys along the way. The little shopping area was pricey and only had a health‑food store for groceries, so we brought food and cooked at the resort; we also drove out for groceries. Gravel roads led to and from the resort.
