The location is good, the reception is open 24/7 and there is luggage storage. The noise from ongoing construction during the day is annoying, but it’s probably temporary.

The location is very good, right in Berlin and right next to the U-Bahn station. Everything was clean and the once stylish hotel works well for 1-2 nights. The breakfast buffet was sufficient, well presented, and included some healthy options. Communication beforehand was good and the staff were friendly. The room furnishings are dated, the bed quality is below average, the shower door leaks, and there are only two outlets in the whole room.

The pillows smelled awful; we’ve stayed here 4‑5 times before but this time it was terrible. I’m disappointed. I’ll be in Berlin from 5‑7 November but I’ve booked a different hotel.

The location is fine, but constant loud noises from ongoing works made it impossible to relax. This should have been communicated clearly – you’re paying €200 for a hotel that’s a building site. Work starts at 8 am and goes until after 6 pm. I’ll think twice before booking with Ibis again.
