“Terrible”
The staff were kind but not at all helpful. The rooms were dirty, the water was sometimes cut off, sometimes only hot water, sometimes just hot water! The sheets and towels were stained…

The staff were friendly enough when you forced them to engage, but otherwise ignored us, except to insist on multiple selfies with us. We got automatically changed to the adjacent Dwaraka comfort hotel- I think it is a scam being run but the golden grand hotel. The hotel is not up to even basic standards, and the building is not finished. The water is dirty (comes out of the taps brown, or full of inch pond brown scales, which cover the entire basin and bathroom) delivered by water truck several times a day, but still spent 50% of the time with no water. Multiple power outages. Filthy rooms- like, the rooms have never been cleaned filthy. That amount of limescale, rubbish and dust under the beds, and hair mats in the drains only builds up over months. Cockroaches, visibly stained and mildew linen, millimetres thick dust all around the window. When I arrived my toilet wasn’t plumbed in so I had to flush it using a bucket filled from the shower, although a staff member came into my room several times during my stay, unannounced (they didn’t even knock, leading to one nearly very embarrassing incident) and by the last day my toilet was plumbed in and finally flushed. Refuse is stored for several days in the lobby under the stairs, waiting for collection, so the local stray dogs are normally under there tearing bins bags open and strewing it around. Oh, and the same dogs howl all night, and the lift plays awful canned 90s computer game style music 24 hours a day really loudly, and they start bashing pans at 5am, (although we never got offered any food and wouldn’t have accepted it anyway) so no way to sleep unless you have earplugs. The curtains don’t cover the windows so always light. Oh and the wiring in the lobby is a legitimate death hazard

The position was convenient for the event we needed to attend. The restaurant in the corner is great for food and very affordable. The people working at the hotel are friendly, but we often needed to use Google translate to communicate. We reserved at this hotel and then got moved to a neighbouring one (fabhotel dwaraka comfort). The rooms were not clean (there were empty bottles left under the bed, the floor was stained and dusty), the bathrooms drain for the shower had not been cleaned and there was rubbish on it
