The hosts were super caring, always ready to help with any request. The rooms were quiet, with a nice view of the green, and the whole house and garden were well kept. The kids loved the animals that were around and would happily let them pet them all day.

“A memorable trip”

I brought my parents over and they loved it. Steven and Lilyan were friendly and made them feel welcome. The driver Haibin was thoughtful too. The homestay was clean, spacious, and tucked between mountains, water, and tea fields—fog in the morning, swallows in the afternoon. The kittens and dogs were adorable, especially Goudan and Sansan who remembered me from last year. Steven planned a relaxed day tour around quiet villages and even asked a restaurant to give my parents a break after lunch.

After four hectic days in Shanghai, Nature Cure Village Lodge was the perfect place to unwind. The hosts were excellent, Steven took us to great restaurants and showed us the nearby villages. It was a soothing respite.

A wonderful experience, far from the city noise, with a beautiful setting that relaxed you. From the bedroom window you could see misty mountains—just after a heavy rain, the rooster crowed in the morning, waking you to the village’s fresh air. The host couple were kind, knowledgeable, and friendly, and they’ve adopted many stray cats and dogs. They offered paid transport, helped plan routes, and arranged car rentals. Driver Jiang was courteous and professional.

“The highlight of our China trip”

The place is lovely, surrounded by tea gardens. Rooms are great, beds comfy, showers good, breakfast amazing. What made it unforgettable was the full‑day tour with Steven. We visited real villages with life going on. Steven and Lillian speak perfect English and know a lot about Wuyuan and China. Don’t miss it.
