“Great experience at n Venice”
Amazing location near the Jewish Ghetto with many local bars nearby. The room had all the travel essentials, and the owner was always available for questions and inquiries.

The place was spotless and the host sent detailed instructions before arrival, so every question was answered even before I had it. The bed was a real highlight after a long day of walking. I didn’t expect to share the apartment with another couple, and the encounters that followed felt a bit awkward.

The location in Cannaregio is definitely the main strength. The area is pleasant, quiet, and convenient for exploring Venice. Beyond that, I think the listing should be clearer. The accommodation is essentially a private room inside an apartment shared with other guests, with some common areas. The bathroom is private but not en‑suite: it’s outside the room and you have to walk through a shared corridor to reach it. That’s an important detail that should be stated before booking. The “air conditioning” also needs a more precise description. In our room there was a portable air‑con, which was quite noisy. During our stay it wasn’t very effective against the Venetian heat, and keeping it on at night was difficult because of the noise. We also had shower problems: the water pressure and temperature were very unstable, frequently switching from hot to cold, so maintenance would probably be needed. The room’s sound insulation was limited; you could easily hear other guests coming and going, and the use of the washing machine in the common areas, sometimes at inconvenient times. Overall, what I’d improve is the transparency of the listing. It would help to clearly state that you’re booking a room inside a shared apartment, that the private bathroom is separate from the room, and that the air conditioning is a portable unit. These details can significantly influence a guest’s choice. Finally, in our case the tourist tax had to be paid in cash.

The location was great and the directions were clear and precise. The LUNA room faced a wall, was not well maintained, and the bathroom was accessed from the common area.

The apartment was nice and the room was spacious. Its proximity to everything made it convenient, with many restaurants and a grocery shop just a 5‑minute walk away. Fran—or perhaps the owner, not sure—made sure we were comfortable, and there was a list of recommended nearby restaurants in the room. The kitchen had appliances, and the best part was that the apartment included a washing machine and dryer, plus detergent and softener, which was very generous. The downside was that the bathroom was separate from the room, but as advertised it was a private bathroom with its own key; the apartment had two beds and two baths. I also found an extra blanket in the wardrobe that smelled bad, so it might need washing after each guest leaves.
