The location was lovely, the breakfast and bar food were great, and the room was very warm.

“Highly recommended.”

The location and safety were excellent, the food was outstanding, and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and polite. The atmosphere was calm, cosy, and pleasant. There wasn’t much else to note, though perhaps smaller portions on the menu would suit lighter appetites.

“Fine but a bit spoilt by cold shower in the morning.”

The location was good, the hotel and room were clean, and the staff were all polite. Breakfast was okay. The shower in the room had no hot water; the sink did have hot water, so it seemed to be a plumbing issue. I raised it with the staff, who were very polite but couldn’t help or offer a solution. A hot shower is a basic requirement—hopefully they have fixed it since.

The hotel staff made us feel very welcome. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed—iron, ironing board, tea and coffee facilities, a clean shower, and a tidy room. The entire staff were helpful and welcoming. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and we’ll definitely return. There was nothing to dislike.

“The staff are very helpful. The hotel is exceptionalally clean.”

The hotel sits right in the middle of everything, so everything is super close. The bar only serves snacks and sandwiches to residents until 3 pm, though.
