The terrace view is breathtaking. The hotel is 300 m from the entrance of the Pyramid Plateau, and Hussein speaks perfect Italian, offering great suggestions; he arranged a fantastic tour for us to Dashur/Memphis/Saqquara and gave solid advice on how to get around, what to see, and where to eat—top!

I never ended up staying at this hotel. I had booked a balcony room, but when I arrived I was shown a much smaller room that didn’t match my reservation. When I raised the issue, the owner didn’t want to find a proper solution and instead said I didn’t know if the balcony I’d booked would have a nice view anyway, and that after a few hours I would probably get used to the smaller room. He also told me that if I didn’t like it I could simply cancel. That completely misses the point. Guests book a specific room type for a reason and should receive what they paid for. The problem was not the view, but that the room I had reserved was not being honored. Because of the owner’s attitude and unwillingness to resolve the situation professionally, I decided to leave and book another hotel instead. I cannot comment on the actual stay, as I chose not to remain at the property, but my check‑in experience was disappointing enough that I would not consider returning.

It’s hard to say how comfortable I felt at this hotel; it was my first solo trip to Egypt, and they were my guide and made me feel at home. I fell ill during the trip and they helped me even then, the tours were fantastic, the drivers who work with the hotel are all very good people and safe—Cairo can be very chaotic, especially for a first experience, but here you can feel at home. Choosing to stay here is the best way to enjoy Cairo and Giza in all its splendor. A special thank you to the owner who takes care of every guest as if they were family and speaks very good Italian, which is great for those who might have language difficulties. I hope to return soon. Thank you! Nothing else, everything was handled in the best possible way.
