Manu, the house hostess, was incredibly sweet and attentive, and the house itself is beautiful and well cared for; they also offered bicycles for loan, though I didn’t use them, and I skipped the pool because it was cool and overcast most of the time—nothing to do with the staff. Ants did get into my dirty laundry left on the bedroom floor, which was annoying but expected on the island.

The place is gorgeous, kept spotless, and a stone's throw from the beach with a killer view. Manu goes above and beyond for guests, and Matheus was super flexible with us. This was my second stay and I fell in love all over again.

Manu is the heart of the place—she greets you, whips up a breakfast that feels like a local secret, and shares stories and tips from her 20‑year island life. The house itself is a visual treat with stunning architecture and a sweeping view, tucked on a quiet street free of traffic. The only downside is a few bits that could use a touch of upkeep because the building is old.
