Located on the Berlyn Farm in the Blyde River Canyon, Thaba Tsweni Lodge & Safaris offers self-catering chalets with private gardens, barbecue facilities, and a 1 km proximity to the Berlin Waterfalls. Chalets feature spacious lounges with exposed brick walls, open fireplaces, flat-screen TVs, and equipped kitchens with microwaves, refrigerators, and ovens.

The fireplace was a highlight, and I loved it.

The hotel was awesome, even better than the photos. We were greeted by either the owner or the manager, a great guy who showed us around and was positive. The place was excellent, spacious, very clean, with a fireplace and a barbecue area. We only stayed there for one night, which was a pity.

The building is beautiful and surrounded by greenery, just a short walk from a gorgeous panoramic street, but the heating is lacking.

The location is very nice, but there is no heating; when the weather is bad the stove freezes and isn’t enough to warm the room, so we had to leave the room and book another one at Graskop with a heat pump.
