The lodge sits in a fairly close area to Vila do Capão, ideal for nature lovers; however, the reception fell short because the owner was away for personal reasons, the toilet in the room had a faulty flush that was fixed once we reported it, and the staff were lacking at breakfast—simple items were forgotten, like the sandwich maker, no scrambled eggs on the second day, and some cutlery was missing from the table. Small details that didn’t ruin the stay but made a difference.
