Single Bedroom in Birmingham Near City Center

Esmira is probably the sweetest host I’ve ever met; she goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable <3 The room is clean, quiet, and has a very cozy bed. The shared bathroom is lovely, and Esmira keeps it hygienic, as does the kitchen, stocked with essentials like tea and coffee. A supermarket is a 2‑minute walk down the road, and the bus station is nearby, offering a 15‑minute ride to the city centre. The constant locking of three doors behind me made my German brain itch a bit, wondering “what to do in case of a fire?” but I guess there’s a good reason for it.

The accommodation was simple, the room matched the description, comfortable, and fine for a couple of nights. The shared bathroom and kitchen were clean and a good size. The property felt very safe because there were several locked doors to pass through upon arrival, and the location was great for visiting Alexander Stadium for athletics. However, the instructions on how to gain entry only arrived that morning, and I think a bit more time should be given in advance; it should also be made clearer in the description that the bathroom and kitchen are shared.

“Great place, clean and informative hosts!”

Very clean, had a fan (since I was there during summer), an online guidebook for city activities, and house rules! Even though I didn’t meet the hosts in person, they were friendly online. Not much to complain about; it was great.

Superb hosts and a great place to stay. No complaints, just a few suggestions: door numbers cost only a few quid, so don’t use Post‑it notes. The bathroom is fantastic, but the lock is poor—install a nice lock there. 👍🏻
