Clean, organized, excellent room, excellent bathroom. The staff were gossiping loudly in the hotel restaurant, and the breakfast, while plentiful, was mostly bland; the service felt like they were doing you a favor. Parking costs a daily fee of 25 reais, which seemed unnecessary given the room rate. Some rooms have a mini‑fridge, others a wine cooler; the cooler doesn’t actually chill anything, and when I asked for a room with a mini‑fridge, they couldn’t tell me which rooms had a cooler and which had a wine cooler. The restaurant feels like a smoker’s lounge because it has wood‑fire pizza and no proper exhaust, so you leave the restaurant smelling of pizza smoke, which, by the way, is delicious.
