“OK but there's other places”

The location was okay, but we found it a little barren for food compared to other hotels in the area. The staff were kind and the balcony view was nice. The rooms were quite run down with stained, dented walls and stained furniture. When we entered, there was a distinct smell of wet rag that we eventually figured out was from the bedding, like they didn't dry the laundry properly. We were offered a diffuser for the room, but it only mixed some lemongrass into the already existing smell. The window near the bathroom was so dirty and didn't close properly no matter what we tried, so we got a bit of noise from the roads during the night and early evenings. The shower door didn't work because the plastic liner was loose and the silicone was moldy. FYI the mattress is stiff. I think this is the norm in smaller VN hotels.

The location is convenient for tourists and the facilities are fairly complete, but the room space left a bit to be desired.
