Located in Constantia Valley, it is 15 minutes from Table Mountain, Cape Town City Centre, and V&A Waterfront. Tastefully decorated rooms have private entrances and en-suite bathrooms. The lodge provides easy access to beaches, wine estates, restaurants, and golf courses.

The location is convenient and the staff are friendly, but the advertising is misleading: the photos shown for the room with a balcony, terrace, and hot tub actually belong to a different room; the real room has only a shared courtyard, one basin, and a bath that isn’t a hot tub. The lights outside are bright and the room isn’t dark at night. The staff tried to help by switching lights off the next night, yet the manager/owner was condescending, bragging about fancy international guests who never complained instead of acknowledging the problem. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear other guests, the kitchen, laundry, and there’s no decaf coffee. It’s a pleasant place but not a 4‑star hotel and it’s overpriced.

The location was spot‑on, walking to a variety of restaurants was a breeze. The room had no heating or air conditioning, so it’s best to stay only in the shoulder season.
