A day before my scheduled visit, a typhoon slammed Kamakura, so on the day I sent a message to the place asking if it was safe to go (online info was saying no). I never got a reply. I tried to cancel because of the typhoon but still heard nothing. Even two weeks later, no response. I expected the host to keep me in the loop.

“A nice cute hotel in Kamakura”

The location is close to the train station. I thought it's gonna be kind of hard to sleep because you would hear it, but surprisingly, I had a good night sleep after spending a wonderful day in Kamakura and getting to witness the Kamakura fireworks!! The staff/owner also let me check-in early that day!. That I only stayed for 1 night

“快適！ワクワク！”

My 7‑year‑old grandson, who loves trains, and I stayed here and were thrilled to see the Enoden and JR lines right outside the window, watching them until we fell asleep and again before the first train in the morning; it’s a rare location, just a few minutes’ walk from Kamakura Station and perfect for train fans. The bedding was very comfortable and we slept well, and the owner was kind, providing a private bath for each room at a pleasant temperature. My grandson mentioned the men’s restroom looked old and wasn’t very clean.

The place is very convenient, right next to both the JR station and the old train station, and it’s close to all the fun, with beaches just 1.2 km away, which made me feel a bit overwhelmed. The house was somewhat tidy, but the small room was a bit messy, the bedding wasn’t properly arranged, and the table was dusty, so I had to wipe it down with a sanitary napkin.
