I was pleased with the location and the comfortable accommodation, but we had no contact before arrival. We waited an hour on the street, unable to reach the person handling the booking, who didn’t answer the phone; when we finally met him on the way out, he didn’t even apologise. The place itself was fine, but the access was difficult and the building looked run‑down.

The spot was great and communication was solid, yet the kitchen was very sparse – no coffee, tea, or bread for the next morning, and the local shops and cafés were closed that morning. The cutlery was partly broken and the sofa bed was very uncomfortable.

The owners were wonderful to talk to and helped us with everything. The property had all the essential amenities and the setting in a charming street was beautiful.

The location was excellent, right in the centre. The host was super helpful, answered our requests quickly, and gave us plenty of city tips. Unfortunately the room, being on the –1 floor with no windows, was quite damp and we struggled to sleep because we felt cold; the air‑conditioner helped a bit with the humidity.

The studio in the heart of Barletta was lovely and very convenient, especially being just a 10‑minute walk from the sea. Agostino was very welcoming and personally handled the permit to keep our car in the ZTL in front of the studio during our stay – very friendly! The only downside is that the studio has no windows and no drying rack, so drying swimsuits and towels after beach days was a bit tough. The knives didn’t cut well, and in the bathroom a central mirror would have been handy for using the hair straightener or dryer; there were only three small mirrors that didn’t give enough view. A small holder for shampoo, sponge and other items in the shower would also have been useful, so we didn’t have to put them on the floor. Aside from these small things, the stay was very pleasant and, given the overall quality and price, I’d say the value is great.
