Beautiful location. The hotel seems to be mainly used for large conferences and weddings, the people attending obviously want to have a good time. This is not conducive to a relaxing holiday for other guests. The rooms at the far side of the lake haven't been updated and remain the same as they were 30+ years ago ( they weren't great then). The bathrooms are dreadful, rusty leaking pipes, smelly and dirty Sadly after 5 days we were glad to leave

The staff at this property were friendly and helpful, which made our stay a lot more enjoyable. However, the rooms were a different story - some of them were old and unstable, with a musty smell and even ants in the bed. It's clear that the hotel needs to revamp its old side, but the new rooms were clean and comfortable.

We felt that the resort was overpriced, and the breakfast could have been improved. But what really stood out was the segregation of Indians and whites, which we found completely unacceptable. As Londoners, we're used to living in a civilized way, and we couldn't understand why the whites were separated from the Indians.

Everything about our stay was perfect, from the location to the front desk staff, who were led by the excellent Jason. He made sure we felt comfortable and even gave us the room we wanted. The security staff were always smiling and welcoming, and the restaurant staff were helpful and remembered our preferences. The property itself was huge and beautifully maintained, but the rooms could have been updated with a minibar and Wi-Fi to make our stay even more convenient.

The lake view was stunning, but unfortunately, the property's hospitality left a lot to be desired. The staff at reception and the restaurant were unfriendly and seemed put off by our presence. We even had to fetch water ourselves from the restaurant, which was miles away. To top it off, our room was infested with ants and cockroaches, and we were charged extra for every little thing.
