Great property right in nature. You can watch toucans, parakeets and parrots at breakfast. A tapir visited the grounds in the evening. Definitely take the boat tour. On the night tour we saw the caiman at the entrance; the guide knew it by name. A wonderful spot for nature lovers and photographers. The food was delicious both at lunch and dinner.

The lodge sits in the middle of lush greenery, feeling like an island in the lagoon, with simple, small rooms that each have a private bathroom, are clean and air‑conditioned, and open onto a large terrace with a view. Our family of five got three rooms for the price of two, which was a very fair deal, and the local‑style food was good at about $20 per dinner. Birdwatchers will love the constant sightings of toucans, tanagers, hummingbirds, king vultures, macaws, coatis and more right from the terrace. We joined a boat tour with just our family and a local guide who, despite the high water level, showed us plenty of wildlife, and we also took part in two caiman tours right at the lodge, which were entertaining thanks to Henry’s effort to point out as many animals as possible. Boots and canoes are available to borrow for free. The only downside was the mosquitoes.

Set right in nature with birds everywhere, the accommodation worked well for us: two adjoining rooms sharing a bathroom for two adults and two children. Breakfast was plentiful and very good, though the prices for meals and excursions felt far too high for what was offered.

“Vorzüglich”

This lodge is a beautiful place right in the rainforest— you can step straight into the jungle from the lodge and enjoy the stunning nature. The food was also very good, and the terrace is especially nice for sitting comfortably while watching birds, toucans, and many other animals. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and we felt completely at ease. Highly recommended!
