The pension in Petrovic was a lovely, cozy spot in a quiet setting, and the spot was great for visiting the Tiské walls and the stunning Königstein fortress in Germany. I was a bit worried about the room's small size (just about 10 m²), but in the end it didn't bother us at all; the room was practically equipped and everything fit. Breakfast was excellent, with ingredients from local farmers, and you could eat either inside the pretty dining room or on a nice outdoor terrace. It would help to replace the pillows – ours were too soft and lost shape, so on the second night I had to bring a small pillow that kept its form and finally I slept well. Our room was on the 2nd floor, there’s no lift, so it’s a bit hard to haul luggage. Check‑in is only online; you get a numeric code you need to get in (we didn’t know online check‑in was the only option, so we had to set it up on our phone after arrival).
