We had the best stay ever. Most importantly, the location is five minutes away from the bottom of the mountain.

“Fantastic stopover on the scenic drive over the Tresnjevik Pass .”

We drove up the mountain from Podgorica via Tresnjevik Pass in a small Hyundai i40, enjoying a narrow but picturesque route. The accommodation sits at the top of the pass next to the national park gate, not where the directions point. The room was simple yet functional, and the bed—brand‑new mattress—was super comfortable. We added breakfast for $10 a person, which turned out to be fantastic: fried dough balls, local cheese, sausage, eggs, bread, and black coffee—a great start before heading to Plav. We might have stayed an extra night to explore the nearby walks. In Apartment #1, still being renovated, the TV was still wrapped in plastic, the bathroom door handle had come off, but these minor issues didn’t affect our stay, and at €30 a night for two people it was well within expectations.

“Удобный отель с хорошим завтраком.”

The rooms were new and clean. The local breakfast was delicious, featuring burek, priganice, vegetables, a meat platter, and cheese. The hotel sits right at the entrance to the national park on the road, and the neighboring restaurant creates a noisy environment. One night is fine, but it’s not a secluded spot. In the room we lacked a bath mat and soft pillows for a good sleep.
