The manager is genuinely unhinged. I shouldn’t have even booked this place. I didn’t realize I was signing up for an interactive horror experience called “Can You Survive the Night?” Forget the freezing room, the filthy blankets, and zero customer service. I’d avoid this place for one reason: the manager. I arrived after dark, there were no lights, and no one met me, so I had to navigate in pitch black. The first room was full of… Wi‑Fi was down for roughly 90 % of my stay. No calls, no messages, no way to research the next leg or book somewhere else. Because the property is so isolated, that’s a safety issue, not a mere inconvenience. I asked politely. He instantly told me it WAS working and I was “doing something wrong” – while I stood there showing him my phone, my laptop and his own TV all displaying “No Internet”. He argued ten-plus times, then reset the router and, surprise, it worked. Briefly. Round two was identical, except he blamed my phone and mentioned he “doesn’t like customers”. Believe him. There was no round three. I froze all night under every thin, dirty blanket in the room rather than knock on that door again and ask for a warm one. Asked how my stay was. I answered honestly, asked for nothing, and was offered a refund unprompted. Two minutes after they contacted him, my phone exploded: obscenities, slurs, name‑calling, a claim he’s an ex‑lawyer, a threat of court. He kept going after I repeatedly told him to stop. He used a phone number required for a booking to abuse a guest who had left, and repeatedly asked him to stop. Other reviews describe the same behaviour. This is his M.O. – handed my concerns straight to him, didn’t warn me, didn’t shield me, then asked me to screenshot the abuse – before withdrawing the refund, keeping the listing live and sending me $22. I’ve stayed in hostels, motels, campgrounds and shacks worldwide. Never this.

The adult bed was really comfortable, the bunk beds were awful. The location was beautiful. Not super clean.

“Not what the photos look like won't stay again.”

I slept comfortably on the bed and the unit was available when I arrived, but getting in meant trudging through mud and rain just to unpack. I couldn’t boil water because the kettle was empty, and there was no internet or phone signal.

Very clean, well kept property, lovely abd green. No microwave in room had to walk to a community kitchen which only had 1 microwave with low voultage. It was raining so food got wet on way back.Not enough blankets and children's beds were as hard as rocks. We cut short our stay
