The setting and house had an authentic Irish feel, yet the bathroom needed updating and there were too many fake flowers.

It was quiet. Our suite was enormous. Lovely buffet breakfast with home-made granola and jams. Good selection of hot breakfasts too. Evening meals were a set 3 course menu and delicious. Hosts were delightful. Even gave us a packed breakfast on day of departure as we had an early ferry crossing. Nothing

Beautiful, peaceful location. Birdsong. Friendly hosts with helpful advice and interesting stories about the history. Excellent cooked‑to‑order breakfast. Nothing else.
